Second year of HLC!

We started our second year at the Hub Learning Center with a bang!

This year we are K-10th grade and we have 44 students!

There are 4 teachers and 2 assistants all from YWAM LANCASTER staff.

I am teaching K&1st grade and I have 10 amazing students!

Our class is called the "Explorers" and we do lots of exploring! Such joy!

Ellie and Selah are both in my class and it's been such a JOY to pour into them as well as the other students!

We are SO THANKFUL For Middle Creek Church who has allowed us to have our school in their building! We have 4 Classrooms and we are able to be set up for the entire year, which is such a blessing! It's a great building and has the best outdoor space!

I loved being able to create a warm learning environment in my classroom! Here is a glimpse into our classroom!

Josiah has taken on the role of Kitchen manager at YWAM! It's a new role and he has been creating systems and structures and lots of things will be so helpful

He has been busy setting up and helping with the new kitchen shed!

The last two years, we have not had a kitchen on base that could feed all the students and staff, so this is a big step!

I will add pictures to the next update when it is finished!

PRAYERS & PRAISES

• Praise God pray for a building for HLC to meet in! We are meeting in Middle Creek Church, which is only 5 min from base! Thank you Jesus!

• Praise God For a great start to our school year and for the 10 students in my class!

• Please pray for spiritual covering over our family and our marriage

• Please pray for a smooth transition into this school year and a new schedule and teaching!

• Please Pray for our HLC Director Amanda Vargas as she is getting treatment in Mexico for cancer.
