Lancaster Outreach Highlights!

The last 8 weeks of outreach here in Lancaster County has been unlike anything I have ever experienced!
What a privilege to get to pour out and minister in our own hometown! This was not the backup outreach plan, this was God's BEST plan for us!
God is on the move in Lancaster County, raising up another youth movement of 12-18 year olds on fire for the Gospel and raising up sold out lovers of Jesus from the Amish!

A typical outreach week included:
*Worship at the base every morning
*Street Evangelism in Ephrata & Lancaster City
*Prayer walking plowing the ground in Ephrata
*Leading worship & devotions with TNT Warwick High School Bible Study
*Intercession at Gateway House of Prayer
*Loving on the kids at Cross Fire Youth Ministries with elementary age kids *Teaching Kid's track to the 15 kids of students and staff families on our base
*Serving our staff & leaders by providing child care for staff meetings at our base
*Base work at our YWAM Lancaster base
*Serving at Real Life Ministries in Denver doing work projects
*Team meetings & debrief from the week
*Setting up and serving at Community nights at our base every Thursday evening (EVERYONE IS WELCOME! EVERY THURSDAY EVE AT 7pm!)
*More base work helping at the new property getting the houses ready for the teams!

In addition to our typical weekly schedule, our team...
*Ministered to 47 Amish & ex-Amish young adults at a retreat over New Year's and Josiah & I continued relationship with them each weekend (more below)
*Spoke and led worship at two different youth groups (Encounter in Quarryville & Good Shepherd in Reinholds)
Many teenagers got set free from passivity and lies they believed!
*Participated in a regional Youth Rally with 400+ Gen Z 12-18 year olds led by Andy Byrd from YWAM Kona..
These firey Gen Zs are PASSIONATE, BOLD, COURAGEOUS, and are rapidly ADVANCING the Kingdom of Heaven!
AND I got the privilege of leading a precious girl to Jesus! She felt Jesus tell her he loved her, she gave her life to Jesus, and got filled with the Holy Spirit and felt his presence in her body! JESUS!!!
*Prayer walked in Reading City with a ministry who helps women in prostitution and trafficking
*Served at Good Samaritan ministries in Ephrata
*Loved on, prayed for, and led kids into freedom in Christ at Crossfire in Ashland
*Partnered with YWAM Philly and Saturate USA to go door to door in their zip code and give out Jesus films!
*Hosted an outreach team from YWAM Kona
*Ministered to over 40 people at the ECC Prophetic Weekend
*Hosted a Mini DTS with Linville Hill Christian School Eighth Graders
GOD IS MOVING IN THE AMISH COMMUNITY
New Year’s Eve weekend, YWAM Lancaster had the privilege to be a part of retreat with an amazing group of young people who are in the Amish church or have recently left. I have never experienced such hunger in a group of people before!
God met us in such tangible ways throughout the weekend and lives were transformed! Emotional healings, physical healings, deliverance, and so much more!
The highlight of the weekend for me was the privilege of baptizing my new beautiful friend in a spontaneous baptism in the rain! This was the first time I had ever baptized someone, and it was AMAZING! The water was freezing cold and my feet were numb, but it was so worth it!
The past eight weeks, Josiah and I continued to hang out and minister with this Encounter Group! Jesus brought physical healings, emotional healings, deliverance from the Spirit of Suicide, and a deeper revelation of his LOVE!
One young man got completely delivered from a Meth Drug addiction! After the group prayed for him and prophesied over him his original design of how God created him, he completely surrendered his life to Jesus, felt God's love, and we all went outside and he burned his drugs, his pipe, and needle! He has been SET FREE and walking in freedom for the past 6 weeks since then and his testimony is bringing others in the group and into FREEDOM IN CHRIST!

LINVILLE HILL CHRISTIAN SCHOOL MINI DTS
Last week our outreach team at YWAM Lancaster had the privilege of hosting 27 eighth graders from Linville Hill Christian School
God did so many amazing things this week in each of their lives including... *freedom from depression and anxiety *freedom from self-hatred *hearing God’s still small voice *growing closer to God and feeling his love *inner healing *Prophetic visions for each other *Boldness for evangelism and praying for people *A new love for the word of God *Many of the students got filled with the Holy Spirit and a few even received their prayer language during worship!
GEN Z IS ON FIRE!
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE SHENKS?
Outreach phase is officially over and our outreach teams from Kenya and Mexico returned Friday eve! We have two weeks of debrief with our whole team and then we graduate on Thursday, March 11!
You are invited to our DTS Graduation and Community Night Thursday eve, March 11 at 7pm at Warehouse 100 in New Holland!
We feel like God is leading us to do the School of Ministry Development at YWAM Lancaster beginning April 5! It is a 3 month school that will prepare us as leaders.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF THIS SCHOOL IS TO GROW YOU AS A LEADER. ONE WHO KNOWS GOD AND IS BEING TRAINED TO GO 100% TOWARDS THE ASSIGNMENT OR VISION TO WHICH YOU ARE CALLED.
THIS SCHOOL IS TO BE A LAUNCHING POINT FROM YOUR FOUNDATION OF INTIMACY WITH JESUS INTO THE GREAT PURPOSE OF YOUR GOD-GIVEN ASSIGNMENT.
